SAMs seller is a highly-skilled professional yachtsman who crewed on another aluminum boat a Whitbread winner! SAM underwent a major refit in 2009/2010. The rig was pulled and checked. All of her fittings hatches ports were removed and either rebuilt or replaced. The original TBS nonskid was removed and completely replaced. All ports were replaced. The cockpit benches aft lockers and sugar scoop had new teak decking laid down. She was then stripped and repainted completely.
